As each season comes and goes, it’s important we have just the right handbag to tote around the city. As we collect our notes from another successful NYFW, we are happy to report on one of the coolest flashback trends that’s consistently repeated on the runway - 60’s Mod Fashion. Last Fall, Marc Jacobs showcased the 60’s twiggy revival look with the entire sea of galactic black and white prints in his Spring 2013 Collection. Complete with knee-high boots, color-blocked jumpers, and dropped waists, the entire collection hinted a retro, casual cool. Kate Spade Saturday

If you’re like us than you’re most likely working for the weekend. Our Saturdays are sacred as they are kept for brunching and shopping. So as you could imagine, we were uber excited to hear of the new Kate Spade Saturday line that will be launching soon after the first of the year! Kate Spade’s CEO told Women’s Wear Daily that the new line is meant to capture the spirit of Saturday, ever day of the week! Now that’s something we can get on board with.

The collection will stay true to the Kate Spade brand as it will feature vibrant, bold prints across dresses, jackets, handbags, eyewear, and jewelry. A line of shoes and household goods will also compliment the full range of apparel. Best part about it? Everything in the Saturday collection will be around $130 dollars or less.
