Whether you’re decorating a new apartment or transforming an old bedroom, one of the oldest tricks in the book to help pull a room together is incorporating an eye catching mirror. Not only does it help make a room appear larger, it also adds a touch of glam! Stand the mirror against a wall, incorporate it within a gallery wall, or place above a chest or fireplace are just a few easy design tricks to help work a mirror into any room. Here are a couple of our favorite looks we pulled together! Xo - GOLP
Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Windy City Live Anniversary Party at Epic! What better way to help celebrate a show dedicated to straight fun and entertainment than at a rooftop bar? The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the party and we enjoyed mixing and mingling among the hosts, producers, and friends. We look forward to watching and staying up-to-date with WCL in the years to come! And if you haven’t had a chance to catch WCL yet, you can tune in weekdays at 9am!
In other GOLP news, we are thrilled to be featured this week in Huffington Post’s StyeList Home Top Pinners to Follow on Pinterest! Being in the midst of David Bromstad is pretty awesome. Yes, he is the creative interior designer and host of HGTV’s color splash and Design Star. Does this mean we should get our own series on HGTV? Just kidding. Anyways we think it’s pretty cool so head on over to StyleList Home to check it out and you should probably follow us on Pinterest at the same time. Xo! - GOLP
When it comes to headboards, there are so many styles, fabrics, and colors to choose from. Whether you want to make a bold or subtle statement, the headboard is naturally the major focal point in a bedroom. From the classic tufted look to a more DIY style, we have selected a few of our favorite styles including designs from Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, and Ballard Designs. Happy Thursday! - GOLP

Hi GOLP readers! Being in the interior design field, I definitely find myself loaded down with visual inspiration daily. One of my favorite things to do design wise is to grab an image that inspires me and dream of how I could make it my own. I’m always surprised at how simple it is once you’ve figured out how to navigate the overwhelming amount of options out there. In this case, I’ve taken a sweet rustic/country inspired dining room, perfectly suitable for a family dinner of all sorts, and broken it down into a few key elements to demonstrate how you could get the look. From the table down to the kitchen accessories and decor, below are a few of the key pieces I would incorporate to make this room my own! Be sure to stop by my blog, Lark and Linen, for continuous updates on interior design and trends! Thanks, GOLP! - Jacquelyn
Fact: We are slightly obsessed with bar carts. Not only can they hold our favorite vino, but they can add a touch of glam to any room.
A little design inspiration to help you get through this Tuesday. Curated by some of our favorite decor blogs and sites. Enjoy! - GOLP
We came across this lovely mother/daughter shop out of Dallas, Texas and had to share! This duo team creates unique pieces of art that reflect their love of nature and modern design. The name Red Tile was inspried by a Spanish 1930’s bungalow where all of their artwork is created, under a Red Tiled Roof. Hope you enjoy their shop as much as we do! Cheers! - GOLP
We stumbled upon this awesome shop the other day and decided to share. Graphic Anthology offers unique custom prints with various sayings and words to live by. Enjoy!
