Hi there, Girls of LP readers! My name is Lauren and I blog over at L.A. in the bay. So happy to be here with you all today, sharing some must-try beauty products for Spring. I am a huge makeup junkie and always love trying out new makeup products, especially when it comes to Spring’s fresh shades. One of Spring’s biggest makeup trend is the bright, bold lip - in vivid pinks, tropical oranges, shades of fuchsia and my newest favorite, soft peaches. This is definitely one trend I will be sporting all season long.
Another huge trend for spring is experimenting with eyeliners in fun colors like blues and greens ,and then pairing it with a nude lip. A definite breakaway from the typical neutral lid. And of course, a Spring makeup trend that will never go out of style, is the combination of a bold brow, dewy fresh face, and a subdued pink/peachy cheek. Absolute Spring perfection!

1. MAC Cremesheen + Pearl Lipstick in Peach Blossom $15: Such a perfect opalescent peach
2. MAC Candy Yum Yum Lipstick $15 - One of my favorite lipsticks as of late. Take about making a statement!
3. Clinique Even Better Compact Makeup Broad Spectrum $31 - Love this new compact from Clinique. Turns from a creme into a light-weight powder
4. Mario Badescu Aloe Moisturizer $22 - Definite must-have for the Spring air.
5. Urban Decay Brow Box $29 - My absolute favorite brow kit
6. Aerin Estee Lauder Multi Color for Lips + Cheeks in Freesia $42 - The perfect shade of peach in my opinion
7. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted MOisturizer $42 - Hello, dewy radiant skin.
8. Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in Mandarin Pop $25 - This lipstick is like taking your lips on a tropical vacation!
9. Stila Smudge Crayon Waterproof Eye Liner $22 - Draw it, smudge it, use it as an eye shadow. Blue liner is your new best friend.
Hi Girls of Lincoln Park readers!! I’m Elizabeth from The Now Stylebook and I’m thrilled to be here discussing my latest obsession, the wrap skirt. There is a huge 90’s fashion revival going on right now and while hesitant about wearing trends I wore in grade school, I’m actually excited about wrap skirts. Asymmetrical versions popped up on the runways at Proenza Schouler, Balenciaga and fashionistas like Vogue Australia’s Christine Centenara and publicist, Bernadette Fahey have been sporting them.
Are you a fan? Of course we can’t all afford the Proenza and Balenciaga versions so I found a few alternatives that are just as amazing and won’t break the bank!
1// Topshop 2// See by Chloe 3// Ellery {silver version here}
I am so honored to be on The Girls of Lincoln Park and please stop by The Now anytime to say, “hello”.

Hi there! It’s Liz from the fashion and style blog, Sequins and Stripes, and I’m thrilled to posting today on the GOLP seeing how I’m a fellow girl of LP myself! Because Chicago is still experiencing frigid temperatures, I decided to give a blast of color that can easily be incorporated into your wardrobe now {whether you live in the cold or are basking in the sun}!

Rebecca Minkoff Ostrich iPhone Case // Loeffler Randall Filippa Mignon Sandals // Noir Thin Cord Cluster Necklace // Cosabella for J.Crew Bra + Lace Thong // Equipment Striped Blouse // K.Slademade for Design Darling Clutch // Alexander Wang Aida Heels // Comme des Garcons Polka Dot Wallet
Adding color to your wardrobe with accessories is the perfect way to take your outfit from drab to fab! I for one am dying over both pairs of shoes.
A huge thank you to The Girls of Lincoln Park for having me today! Don’t forget to stop by Sequins & Stripes for a daily dash of inspiration for a styled life as well as my personal website, Elizabeth Schneider Style! Cheers! - Liz
Guest Post: Today we have our good friend Sonni from The Glam Closet!
