If you were on a deserted island and could only have one beauty product what would it be? My answer is ALWAYS mascara. So you can imagine how happy I was when I was introduced to Benefit’s eye lash tinting service ($20). The process is painless and from start to finish takes 15 minutes. First, special stickers are placed on your face to prevent the dye from spreading. Next, the dye is applied to the upper and lower lashes and sits for approximately 10 minutes. Finally the dye is washed away and then voila—your lashes are darker. The results are amazing and I woke up for the next three weeks looking like I had already applied mascara for the day. This service is ideal for anyone heading on a long vacation where they want to wake up ready to go!
To add the extra omph and transition my lashes from day to night I added Benefit’s number one selling mascara ‘they’re real!’. This mascara is uber lengthening and added volume to my already dark lashes, which lasted all night with standing any smudging or sweat and my lashes didn’t dry out. The brush is meant to be used first horizontally and then vertically for extra length and drama. I have tested more than my fair share of mascaras and this one is a new GOLP favorite! Xo - Katie
