The two friends founded the company after attempting to warehouse their excess belongings and then decided to sell the unwanted items on E-bay. With the motto, “Who says spring cleanning only happens in the spring,” the girls have developed a strong following helping others reduce clutter no matter what the season. LGS specializes in selling new and gently used contemporary and designer clothing, artwork, collectibles, and home good items. The girls authenticate, research, price, and photograph merchandise. Best part about the service is that you don’t even have to leave your house and it costs nothing upfront. LGS keeps 35 percent of the final sale price and doesn’t charge if the item doesn’t sell. The item can then either be returned or donated to charity. The girls have been featured across numerous major media outlets including Refinery 29, Time Out Chicago, Lucky Magazine, and Daily Candy Chicago.
