As we collect our notes from another successful NYFW, we are happy to report on one of the coolest flashback trends that’s consistently repeated on the runway - 60’s Mod Fashion. Last Fall, Marc Jacobs showcased the 60’s twiggy revival look with the entire sea of galactic black and white prints in his Spring 2013 Collection. Complete with knee-high boots, color-blocked jumpers, and dropped waists, the entire collection hinted a retro, casual cool. Hello lovely Girls of Lincoln Park readers! I am Lindsay from Sadie + Stella and I could not be more flattered to be here sharing my favorite current design trend. What might it be, you ask? I shall tell you. It is florals. That is right. Florals. Not just your old Grandma’s florals. Punchy, colorful, showstopping florals. What I love about this trend is that you can mix and match it with geometric and even masculine prints to create the perfect juxtaposition for any eclectic space. I have to admit, I am finding any and every way to incorporate this into my own space. For that, I am launching a campaign. Florals: Not just for your 87 year old Grandma.
